Scratched Tint Up Close
These are photos sent in by customers. The vertical scratches and streaks you see are caused by dirt and debris getting caught between the window glass and the bare hard plastic inner window seal. Every time the window moves up or down, that grit drags across the tint film and cuts into it.
This kind of damage is permanent. Once the tint looks like this, it has to be replaced.

Tint Protector felt installed on front door seals
How to Prevent It
Tint Protector felt is applied directly to the hard plastic inner window seal. It creates a soft barrier between the seal and your tint, so dirt and debris never make contact with the film.
The product is completely hidden once installed, and it stays in place because our adhesive is built specifically for the heat and humidity inside a car door.
